Hello and welcome! We are so glad you’re here.
My name is Karolina Ochoa, and I am a nurse, a lactation consultant, and the founder of LactationHub.
Our mission here is simple - to provide you with everything you need in one place and give you back something that’s irreplaceable… TIME. Like so many of you, I have searched and scoured the internet for the supplies that I need to run my lactation practice and be able to give my patients the support they so badly need. Unfortunately, many of the products that I use daily in my practice are not readily available anywhere, and I often had to get them at different stores online, which cost me so much money in product and shipping costs. It was frustrating for me, but what can I do? That’s just how the system worked.
Finally, while on a family trip to Europe, I decided to order some nipple shields directly from the manufacturer in Germany. I figured that it would save me a lot of hassle (and money!) to just purchase them there and bring it home with me. I asked a group of my colleagues online if they wanted me to place an order for them as well, and the response I got was overwhelming. There were so many that replied back to me asking if they can get some, and I knew right then and there that there was a definite need and demand in our community for a place that can provide the supplies that we need.
And thus, LactationHub was born.
Our business model is simple - cut out the middleman, buy quality products directly from the manufacturers, and pass on the savings to our customers so that they can do what they do best: saving babies and supporting families. Basically being HEROES.
Our products here at LactationHub are made and chosen specifically with lactation consultants in mind. We offer a wide range of tried and true products from the MAMIVAC nipple shields (the one that started it all!) to our unique LactationHub teaching tools.
The work that lactation consultants do is incredibly important, but oftentimes, it is such as struggle to simply find what we need to do our jobs and do it well. I hope that we here at LactationHub can ease some of the burden of running your practice and give you exactly what you need.
