GentleFlow+ Glass Baby Bottle - Perfect Size, Shape and Flow for Breastfed Babies

Introducing our Glass Baby Bottle, thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique feeding needs of breastfed and combo-fed infants while also being kind to the planet. Available in two sizes, 3oz and 6oz, our bottles are a testament to our commitment to providing the best for your little one and for the environment.

Sizes Designed with Care

We understand that breastfed babies have specific feeding requirements. In the first month of life, breastfed infants typically consume around 1-3 ounces per feeding. As they grow, this amount gradually increases, but rarely exceeds 5-6 ounces beyond the initial month. Our bottle sizes reflect this understanding, providing you with the optimal 3oz and 6oz options that align with your baby's natural feeding patterns.

Preventing Overfeeding and Breast Refusal

Overfeeding can be a concern when transitioning between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Babies who are fed larger volumes from a bottle than they are used to from the breast might experience discomfort and could be at risk of rejecting the breast altogether. Our smaller bottle sizes help mitigate this issue by encouraging controlled feeding volumes that mimic breastfeeding more closely.

Super Slow Flow Nipple (SS) for Seamless Transition

We believe in providing a seamless transition between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. All our bottles come equipped with a super slow flow nipple (SS) that ensures a gentle and gradual milk flow, akin to breastfeeding. This design choice prevents flow preference, a common issue that can lead to babies refusing the breast due to a preference for faster flow from a bottle

3oz bottles come with SS flow

6oz bottles come equipped with S flow and additional SS flow nipples at no additional cost

Care and Cleaning:

1. Sterilize once upon opening: Fill a pot with enough water to submerge contents, bring water to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.

-Avoid routine sterilization when possible, this will further degrade the materials and may require more frequent replacement of pieces

-Do not use any counter-top sterilizing devices or dishwasher setting

2. Routine washing: Fill a basin with hot water and MILD dishwashing soap. Using a silicone bottle brush wash bottles with MILD dishwashing soap by hand.

-The heat settings and soap used in a dishwasher can cause further degradation of materials, not recommended, please wash by hand!

Due to the Environmentally Friendly Lead-Free Ink used for our bottles, they do require a more delicate washing routine!

*GentleFlow+ Nipples are not currently marked based on their flow rate. When purchasing multiple sizes be sure to keep all different flows separate from one another until your baby has shown signs their flow rate needs to be increased.

    love these

Posted by Grace on 5th Jan 2024

My son took to these bottles instantly! We tried multiple other bottles with no luck. I'm so relieved to find a lead free, glass bottle that he likes! My only complaint is that I'd love the next size but it's been out of stock for awhile. Looking forward to buying it asap.

Finding glass bottles that are LEAD FREE and a great shape for my baby was so tough. Love the design, it checks all of my boxes as a momma.

    Worst Bottle

Posted by Sabrina V on 18th Dec 2023

**BUSINESS RESPONSE: Hi Sabrina! Thank you so much for taking the time to offer feedback. We are sorry to hear they did not live up to your expectations. Ensuring our bottles were lead-free was extremely important to us- this lead to needing to choose a different type of paint to label out bottles, it is eco-friendly and dishwasher pods and some commercial soaps interact with the ink causing the ink to fade- we recommend hand washing with a mild soap. The nipple flow is currently consistent with the newest generation Pigeon SS nipple- it is softer in nature, some babies that employ more "chomping" to remove milk, may find that it flows faster due to the compression. We appreciate your feedback as it aids us in modifying the product for future production. We plan to incorporate the washing instructions on the packaging with future restocks!** These are probably the worst bottle/nipple combination. The glass on these bottles are extremely thin. I own the Philips Avent glass and pigeon and these bottles do not compare. For reference, my son is 19 days old and the writing (oz/ml) on the side of the bottles are fading already. I haven’t had this issue with Pigeon or Philips Avent and they are all washed the same. The super slow flow is also not comparable to Pigeon. It’s much faster and I would say more in line with Dr. Brown’s transition/level 1 flow. My son chokes on these. I would look elsewhere for a bottle/nipple combo.

    Baby likes this bottle best

We've tried a handful of different bottles - comotomo, dr brown's to name a few, and baby prefers this one, and it has the least amount of spillage, and air in his tummy and I love that it’s glass!
