D-chiro-inositol is a form of inositol that acts as a secondary messenger in insulin signaling pathways and plays a role in glucose metabolism. In women with PCOS, there is often an imbalance between myo-inositol and d-chiro-inositol (with lower levels of DCI observed)
Supplementation with D-Chiro-Inositol helps to restore this balance and has been associated with improvements in insulin sensitivity, reduction in androgen levels, and increase in milk production in women with PCOS.
MORINGA LEAF
It's been proven in research that Moringa Leaf increases maternal serum prolactin levels and milk volume. It's also known to contain various essential elements and nutrients that are crucial for breastmilk production such as:
- VITAMINS: Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K
- MINERALS: Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc
- ANTIOXIDANTS: flavonoids, polyphenols + amino acids
Moringa is also known for reducing oxidative stress leading to a decrease in inflammation levels
Beta-glucans are a type of polysaccharide found in various natural sources, including certain mushrooms, oats, barley, and yeast.
Beta-glucans, in direct contact with the pituitary gland, increase prolactin levels. Beta glcuans are also extremely important for gut microbiome as they serve a sfood for the good bacteria (probiotics)
Start with 1 capsule of MilkWorks IR + 3 times per day and continue while breastfeeding or pumping to optimize your milk production
IMPORTANT!!!
No herbal supplement for low milk supply should be used without supervision of your IBCLC (Board Certified Lactation Consultant). An IBCLC can help rule out most common causes of low milk supply such as infrequent pumping/breastfeeding, issue with breastmilk transfer caused by oral dysfuctions such as tongue and lip ties, incorrect flange size or poor quality breast pump and more.

Milk Works IR+
Works wonders!y lactation consultant recommended MW to me. I was struggling with my milk supply due to my baby being in the NICU right after birth plus a combination of oral ties. I have been taking milk works for almost two months and have been able to exclusively BF for a little over a month, plus build up a small freezer stash for my baby while I get back to work. I don’t think I would have been able to make it this far without out.

Worked but Gave Baby Ance
Unfortunately, this gave our girl severe baby acne where she had none before. I saw an improvement in my milk supply the day that I started taking it, however. I took 3 at once two or three days in a row and the acne got worse over time. Once I discontinued the supplement the acne got better and is almost completely resolved now. I may try just taking one a day once it completely resolves.

Mind Blown
I am NOT a breastfeeding mother any longer, but I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance. I have been taking this supplement for a little over 7 weeks now and have noticed an improvement in my afternoon fatigue (thanks a lot blood sugar crash), the scale has moved a bit easier with my normal routine, and I am no longer experiencing extreme tiredness after eating larger meals. Getting Myo-inositol alone for a 1 month supply can be quite expensive, love having this as an option instead!

Tolerated it well, but no improvement
**BUSINESS REPONSE: Hi Erin! Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate it. We are sorry to hear that it did not provide the increase you were looking for, finding the perfect supplement can be tricky. You are doing an amazing job!** I tried this supplement at the recommendation of my LC as we worked to problem solve my decreasing supply. While I tolerated the supplement well and didn’t have any adverse effects, my supply dropped another 19% in two weeks of trying this. I discontinued use since it was at best not helping, and at worst hurting.

Unfortunately a no for me
**BUSINESS RESPONSE: Hi Cassidy! Thank you for taking the time to let us know your experience. In situations where ingredients are potentially causing adverse reactions it can be due to a sensitivity. We always recommend using supplements only when working alongside an IBCLC to ensure it is a good fit and something your supply would benefit from." I was so hopeful for this product, but unfortunately it did not work for me and my boy. I’m a “just enougher” or maybe ever so slightly an overproducer (I’m able to freeze about 4oz per week) and I was hoping this would up my production enough that I would be able to freeze a bit more. However, I did not notice any supply increase. Moreover, it caused increased gas in me and HORRIBLE gas in my 3 month old son. He went from sleeping 4 hour stretches to waking up after less than an hour and not being able to be set down in his bassinet. It took me awhile to pinpoint this as the culprit but I’m glad I was able to narrow it down.

This stuff works!!
I have always had problems producing milk. Yesterday I could barely express a few drops. My order came In the mail so I started taking them. Today I was able to express 2 oz! For my body I’m beyond thrilled with this. Each pump session I express more and more! This may have saved us, I highly recommend

So far so good!
I just started taking this a month ago and just started my second bottle. So far I’m loving the results and feel like my baby is more nourished and happy between feedings.
